Emmalea + Zach got married in the heart of downtown Historic Ellicott City at Main Street Ballroom. Their choice of venue was a beautiful clean slate with much character. With the venue being a blank slate, they had to bring in a extensive list of vendors to execute their vision and plans. This took strategic planning with load in and out times to ensure vendors were not crossing paths through the main entrance. 

Jordyn Williams Photography took Emmalea and Zach to the historic streets to capture special just married moments and utilized nearly every interior and exterior wall of the venue as a beautiful backdrop for all of the portraits throughout the wedding. 

Their tables were full of elegant candles and flowers handcrafted by the talented Haylie at Wander + Whismy. I was in awe of her production. All tables were staged in a vendor area, where she crafted each hours before the ceremony began. After the ceremony came to and end, all guests moved to the bar side of the venue space and outdoor on the patio to enjoy cocktails, while the vendors flipped the ceremony space into the reception space! Teamwork surely made the dream work. 

District Remix never disappoints, and of course had the dance floor packed with the best songs throughout the entire night. 

To end on a personal note, I’ve known Emmalea since I was a young girl, our families know each other, and we come from the same community. It was an honor to be chosen to help her with the final stages of her wedding planning. Emmalea and Zach are beautiful people inside and out who share such a genuine love for one another.
